Designing with Us

Your Vision Comes to Life

Great finals results as well as owner happiness is paramount to us. Our design process is an open door between owner and designer. It is dependent on diligent measurements and communication. Our consultation meetings create a strong base upon which we build your final cabinet design.

Develop the Design

The time frame is dependent on you. It could take as little as a week and as long as several months. You will have to make numerous selections of other products to finalize your plan such as appliances, sinks, faucets, flooring and tile. Today’s homes feature open floor plans that make the kitchen visible to other areas. Because of that visibility, color schemes need to compliment and flow through out the entire home sometimes slowing up the process.

Offer Design Solutions

Always Improving. That’s our design philosophy. We are constantly looking for ways to make the most of what you’ve got. We are first and foremost a design firm that looks for solutions to challenges and needs you may come across during your decision making process. We believe that the design process is integral to the successful outcome of your project.

Create Drawings

We use 20/20 and ProKitchen software to prepare the cabinet and mechanical drawings. The general contractor, plumber, electrician and HVAC professionals all rely on our drawings to do their job. We verify appliance specifications as provided by the manufacturers, indicating centerlines for correct placement. We also check for clearance requirements for walkways and traffic flow.

Visit the Job Site

During the construction of your home we will make several visits to the job site. Initially we will take rough measurements to verify that the dimensions or layout is consistent with your blueprints or drawings. When the design plan is done we return to verify numerous measurements including the center lines for your plumbing and appliances, the ceiling heights, work island placements and more. Often times we will meet with the homeowner or their contractors as needed.

Designs for Your Lifestyle

Designs are more than just about appearances.
Good design is functional and creates the right environment for your family.

The Kitchen

It’s the hub of activity. The place that everyone goes to first and last! Large families or small need to make the most of this space. Best known as the heart of the home, the kitchen is also the most complex and expensive room. Our specialty is designing a room that brings cabinetry, appliances, mechanicals, styles, and textures all together for a beautiful and functional room. The key is planning. At America’s Best we take the time needed to create the best design for each individual or family.

The Bath

A personal sanctuary, the place to relax and recharge in privacy. It’s a smaller room than most so every square inch must count. Our challenge is to create a space and a place for all the necessities while maintaining a spa like feeling. The bath is also a room that many accidents occur, so safety is always a design priority. While it is a private space it is also often a shared space. Meeting the needs and expectations of everyone can be a challenge. That’s where design takes the lead! We will work at the design until your bath is exactly what you want and need.

The Laundry

The most over-looked and under planned room in most homes. This space ends up being the work horse that you must count on. Often times it is also the family entry way. However it tends to be unattractive and disorganized. The “just close the door strategy” only goes so far when guests arrive early or offer to give you a hand. Our approach to the laundry room is a bit different. Like other small spaces we believe that through planning and design we can make every inch count and make it look great.

The Office

Technology has changed every aspect of our homes. Whether you need a place to work from home or a place to run your household, this room has become essential to keeping our lives organized. Sometimes it’s not even a room but a hidden space when not in use, that must accommodate printers, charging stations, monitors, wifi routers and more. All the ugly parts of technology! Designing this space to integrate with the style of your home is possible with good design and planning.

The Great Room

Today’s open floor plan is a feature in many homes. It’s a place to gather and interact with others but also a multi-purpose room. A place for entertainment, relaxation, homework, and possibly crafts or hobbies. It is also where the media center is located in many homes. We can design and provide built-in cabinetry that doubles as storage for your TV, audio equipment, collections and more. The design challenge: the great room is usually open to the kitchen area. While it needs to compliment the kitchen it should be defined as its’ own room as well, and be beautiful.

The Guest Room

Need occasional sleeping space for guests but do not want to give up a whole room? No problem. We can design beautiful cabinetry that will accommodate your guests comfort while still giving you use of the space for other needs. We offer cabinetry that integrates a murphy bed system into cabinetry. Daily functional space that instantly becomes a comfortable and private place for guests. Beautiful. Functional. Efficient.
