Consultations

We Start With You

Before we begin designing your new cabinets, we'd love to know more
about your style, your needs, and your budget. At the heart of our services is the
simple, headache free design process. A successful design results from an open and honest
dialogue during the consultation. This builds the framework upon which your design is developed.

Your Style

Do you identify with a traditional, contemporary or transitional style? We find that many people are not sure what to call their style because they like a combination of several; or they have furniture in one style and would like to incorporate something new in their home while still using some old favorites. We can help you identify a style that works with your grand plan with our wide range of cabinet styles and finishes.

Your Needs

What are your needs? Big family, growing family or no family, everyone is different. We help to identify a plan that makes sense for you. If you love to make dinner or reservations we’ve got you covered. Designing a plan that is functional for the folks who live there is our top priority. Getting to know you, your family and your needs is an important part of the process, so that we can do our best for you.

Your Budget

What’s your budget? Everyone should have one but often doesn’t. It’s hard to know what a new kitchen or bath will cost until you do some shopping. Even after doing some research you will find that there can be quite a difference in cost estimates from one contractor to another. At America’s Best Cabinets, Inc. we provide a preliminary estimate at no charge or obligation to find a solution to your budget.

Consultation Process

Your visit to our showroom and a meeting with our designer entails 5 easy steps.
  • Recieve your free,
    no obligation estimate

At America’s Best Cabinets, Inc. we provide a preliminary estimate at no charge or obligation. Our estimate will be based on the information that you provide and the selections you choose at your visit. Cabinet prices can vary quite a bit and sometimes can even double in price based on what you select. We want to be sure that our estimate is based on what you are looking for, not just a low number.

  • Visit Our Showroom

You will have a first hand opportunity to see our cabinetry displays. We offer cabinets manufacturered by several exceptional companies located in the Midwest. We have selected our suppliers based on three criteria: style, quality and value. Here's our address; we think you'll be impressed.

  • Share Your Blue Prints

Bring your blueprints or drawings to our table. We will review your floor plan to get an understanding of your vision for your home. We will talk about other elements that may impact your cabinetry such as flooring and trim molding if known.

  • Show Us What You Like

We have a wide range of types and styles to see. We will take the time to guide you through the differences found in cabinetry; frameless and face frame, wood species and finishes, construction methods and hardware. We will show you benefits and features that will help you make informed decisions.

  • Discuss Your Needs

Tell us about your life style and your family. How many people will live in your home? What are their individual needs? Do you need to accommodate anyone with special needs? Will your home be geared to multiple generations? Do you entertain often? Love to cook or mostly eat out? These will help us to plan and recommend the best design for you

  • Establish a Budget

After you choose styles, finishes and construction requirements we will be able to give you a realistic price range for your project. If our products meet your needs and budget requirements, we move onto the design phase. At this point we require a deposit. The amount will depend on the scope of the project, with all monies paid applied to the purchase price of your cabinetry.
